EARNING AAS FIRE SCIENCE DEGREE

BridgeValley Community & Technical College is now offering an online Associate in Applied Science Fire Science Degree program, allowing firefighters to utilize prior Fire Service certificates and experiences as credit toward their degree! 4 hours of college credit is what you will probably receive from prior training (i.e. Fire Officer 1 & 2, HAZMAT Awareness, etc.) but you may be eligible for up to 15 hours of college credit, which is equivalent to an entire semester of the 4-semester program! Other program benefits include 100% online, financial aid for those who qualify, and a retired State Fire Marshall as an instructor.
